Aranza Stanton

Graphic Artist, University of Michigan

Aranza Stanton is a first year student at the STAMPS School of Art + Design at the University of Michigan. Her art practice focuses on exploring Chicana identities, indigenous heritage and representation in Latin America, and the conceptualization of death through graphic design, painting, and experimentation with various forms of media. Born and raised in the Metro Detroit area, Aranza has honed her design skills through three years of mentored practice with digital programs through her highschool’s robotics team, and completed her senior year as the Director of Media.
