Isha Jain is a senior at Monte Vista High School in Danville, California. I am interested in US history and local government as a part of my Walnut Creek youth commission, and volunteered in transcribing documents for the Smithsonian. I find the research for The First 100: 50 Years of Chicanas Changing History very interesting, and have loved the opportunity to work on the project and explore the backgrounds of these amazing women. I am interested in pursuing history more broadly in the future.
